Project Overview
Nurses Week Video Campaign
Client: Internal communications + field leadership teams
Type: Staff engagement video campaign
Context: Nurses Week, mid/post-COVID era, with minimal budget and limited in-person access
Scope of Work
Campaign concept development
Internal photo submission call + asset curation
Video direction, sequencing, and production
-
We wanted to celebrate the diversity and dedication of our nursing staff in a way that felt authentic, inclusive, and human—without relying on staged footage or in-person events. The goal was to reconnect our field teams with the people behind the PPE and recognize their impact through a lens of shared humanity. With limited resources, we needed a concept that could scale emotionally, not just visually.
-
I pitched the concept of a staff-sourced video montage, asking nurses and field teams to submit candid photos of themselves on the job—masked and unmasked—to highlight the real people behind the work. The photo call was paired with warm, inclusive messaging that framed the campaign as a celebration by and for nurses.
Once submissions came in, I handled the editing, pacing, and sequencing to ensure diversity of roles, faces, and locations while keeping a tight emotional throughline. The final video was produced using Adobe AfterEffects and distributed via internal comms channels and social platforms, accompanied by custom-written captions and email framing.
-
Deliverables were created using Adobe Photoshop, AfterEffects, and MediaEncoder.
